Social Media Coordinator

The Moshal Program, a leading global social transformation organization, is looking for a strategic, and creative Social Media Coordinator who is energetic & passionate about youth development, to join our team.

As the Social Media Coordinator at Moshal Program, you will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining a strong community amongst our scholars, potential applicants, alumni and partners, as well build awareness of the brand through digital channels. The key areas of responsibility for this role include:

(1) Social Media Management:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to increase the program’s visibility and engagement.
  • Manage and maintain all social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Create and curate high-quality, relevant content to share on social media.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on the effectiveness of social media campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.
  • Create and optimise paid social media campaigns.
(2) Content Creation
  • Develop engaging and informative content, including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, and more, to highlight the success stories of scholarship recipients and the impact of the program.
  • Ensure content is aligned with the organization’s mission and messaging.
  • Collaborate with the design team to create visually appealing content.
  • Collaborate with videographer on creating engaging videos
(3) Partnership Building:
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with team, partners, suppliers and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with partners to create co-branded content and initiatives that support the program’s goals.
  • Attend events, conferences, and meetings to represent the Moshal Program and cultivate partnerships.
(4) Teamwork:
  • Collaborate with the program’s team members, including communications, marketing, careers and program coordinators, to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of new initiatives and campaigns
Other areas of responsibility include:
  • Contribute to strengthening the Moshal Program’s brand among students, alumni and partner networks.
  • Stay up to date on the latest in social media trends and the implementation thereof for the program.
  • Provide support for various activities and events.
  • Occasional travel may be required to attend events, meetings, or to visit scholarship recipients
  • Ensure effective measurement and evaluation of the social media and digital marketings impact.
  • Participate in strategic development, planning, and budgeting processes.
  • Collaborate with Communications Consultant.
  • Network and market the Moshal Program to other scholarship programs, corporate networks, and industry conferences.

Candidate Profile

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to implement operational solutions. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven experience in social media management and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and a passion for making a difference.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.


  • Direct reporting to the Country Manager, working as part of the Marketing Team.
  • Local and occasional overseas travel required.
  • Full home office setup provided.
